Provisioning New Macbook
STEP 1: ENROLL DEVICE IN MOSYLE (BEFORE OPENING BOX)
🚨 This must be completed before the device is opened.
👉 Follow this Scribe to enroll the device in Mosyle:
Do not proceed until:
- The device is successfully assigned in Mosyle
- Enrollment is confirmed in the Mosyle dashboard
Once confirmed, proceed to open the device.
STEP 2: OPEN & POWER ON DEVICE
- Open the equipment box.
- Plug in the device.
- Power it on.
STEP 3: CONNECT TO WIFI
- Select the correct WiFi network.
- Enter password.
- Confirm internet works (open Safari and load a webpage).
STEP 4: SIGN IN TO ADMIN ACCOUNT
- Log in using the Admin credentials
- Do NOT allow the user to sign in yet
STEP 5: INSTALL REQUIRED APPLICATIONS
1. Open Applications
- Open Finder
- Click Applications
2. Open Self Service
- Double-click Self Service
If Self Service does not appear:
- Wait 5–10 minutes for Mosyle to sync
- Restart device if needed
3. Download Required Apps
Inside Self Service, install:
- ✅ Splashtop
- ✅ Google Chrome
- ✅ Zoom
- ✅ RingCentral
Click Install for each app.
STEP 6: CONFIRM ALL DOWNLOADS COMPLETE
🚨 DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP
For each app:
- Wait until it shows Installed
- Open the app to confirm it launches
- Approve any permission prompts
Do not move forward until all apps:
- Fully install
- Open successfully
- Do not show errors
STEP 7: SIGN OUT OF ADMIN
- Click Apple logo (top left)
- Click Log Out Admin
- Confirm logout
STEP 8: USER SIGN-IN
At the login screen:
- Have the user sign in

Use their Google Workspace email and password
Confirm:
- Desktop loads correctly
- Chrome opens
- Internet works
- Zoom opens
