How to Verify Your Okta Verify and FastPass Setup

This article explains how to confirm that Okta Verify and Okta FastPass are properly configured on your device(s).


Okta Verify (Required)

Okta Verify is the authenticator app used to verify your identity when signing in to company applications. All users are required to have Okta Verify enrolled.

To confirm Okta Verify is set up:

  1. Open the Okta Verify app on your mobile device.
  2. Look for a row or section labeled login.behavioralframework.com.

If you see this entry, Okta Verify is properly configured as your authenticator — no further action is needed.

Okta FastPass provides a faster, passwordless sign-in experience using your device's built-in security (Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint, or device PIN). It is configured per device, meaning you'll need to set it up on each device you use to sign in.

To confirm FastPass is set up on your device:

  1. Open the Okta Verify app on the device you want to check:
    • iPhone / iPad: Tap the Okta Verify app icon.
    • Mac: Open Okta Verify from your Applications folder, or click the Okta Verify icon in the menu bar at the top of your screen and select Open Okta Verify.

  • Windows: Open Okta Verify from the Start menu or desktop shortcut.
  1. Look for your name and email address displayed above bfprod.okta.com.

If you see your name and email listed, FastPass is active on that device — no further action is needed.
